PRIVACY POLICY FOR SNAPID

SnapID ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SnapID mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. NO DATA COLLECTION (OFFLINE PROCESSING)
The core value of SnapID is user privacy.

Local Processing: All AI-powered image processing, including background removal and photo enhancement, is performed locally on your device.

No Image Uploads: We DO NOT upload, store, or transmit your original or processed photos to any external servers or cloud storage.

Biometric Data: The App does not collect, analyze, or store any biometric identifiers or facial recognition data.

2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
To function correctly, the App requires access to the following hardware and software features:

Camera: Used solely to capture portrait photos for ID and passport creation.

Photo Library / Storage: Used to import existing photos for editing and to save the final processed images to your device gallery.

Network Access: Used exclusively for retrieving advertisements (Google AdMob) and App updates.

3. DATA DELETION & REQUESTS
Since SnapID does not store any of your personal data or photos on our servers, we generally do not have user data to delete. Any photos you process within the App are stored in your device's local storage and can be managed or deleted by you at any time.

How to Request Data Deletion:
If you wish to request the deletion of any metadata or information that you believe may have been collected through your use of the App (such as advertising identifiers), please send an email request to kankun8486@gmail.com. We will process and fulfill your request within 7 business days.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (ADVERTISING)
We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. These third-party services may collect information used to identify you. The data collected by AdMob is governed by Google’s own privacy policies.

Information Collected: Advertising IDs, device model, and basic usage statistics for ad personalization and analytics.

Opt-out: You can manage your ad preferences or opt-out of personalized ads through your Android device settings.

5. SECURITY
The security of your data is paramount. Because all processing is offline, your photos are protected from server-side breaches. We recommend securing your mobile device with a passcode or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized access to your local files.

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
SnapID is not designed to collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our records (if any existed).

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
